Pack 209’s hiking club is open to all registered Cub Scouts and their families. Of course we welcome friends and extended family on our hikes as well! There are awards given for specific miles hiked with the Pack or with a den that include a hiking stick shields to put on your hiking stick! Below you will find the information packet that outlines hike requirements and the awards. The button below will take you to a Google Form where you can log miles done outside of Den or Pack hikes. These “family hikes” are also tracked and the Scouts will earn a bead for each hike completed.  Remember all hikes must be on a marked trail so taking a walk around the block is not considered a hike BUT the Palatine Bike Trail would be fine!
